Tennessee is one of the top 15 states in America, according to a list by the website Thrillist. The website created the list ranking every state “based on everything” related to their contributions to the country – and decided that Tennessee ranks as the 14th-best state.

Thrillist said the following are things Tennessee “gets right” compared to most other states: “hot chicken, the Stax museum, sneakily passionate hockey fanbases, ribs, Beale Street, state songs, dressing weirdly nice for college football games, and theme parks” like Dollywood.

According to the list, the top five states in America are Michigan, Maine, Kentucky, Wisconsin and Louisiana. Florida came in dead last – with Delaware, Ohio, Arizona and Utah rounding out the bottom five.
