West Roane County firefighters responded to a camper/RV blaze this afternoon  around 1 p.m. off of Eagle Furnace Road south of Rockwood. Upon arrival, crews saw heavy smoke coming from the vehicle. Firefighters were able to put it out before it spread to any nearby structures. It was reported someone at the scene had burns to their arms and hands. A complete report of the incident will be released at a later time.
