WHITE COUNTY AUTHORITIES ARREST WANTED MAN ON NARCOTICS CHARGES
On December 11, 2025, deputies from the White County Sheriff’s Office, acting on information about a wanted individual, Bobby Norton, who faced an active indictment for narcotics sales, coordinated with the Sparta Police Department to establish a secure perimeter.
Through their joint efforts, officers successfully took Norton into custody peacefully and without incident, demonstrating strong professionalism and teamwork in protecting the White County community.
Following his arrest, Norton was served with the charges, booked into custody with a $100,000 bond, and scheduled for a court appearance in White County Criminal Court on December 19, 2025. The charges include possession with intent to manufacture, sell, or deliver Schedule II drugs (methamphetamine, 0.5 grams or more) and possession, sale, delivery, or manufacture of Schedule II drugs.
The White County Sheriff’s Office emphasized that this is an ongoing judicial matter and that Norton is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
