WHITE COUNTY SCHOOL BUS WITH STUDENTS ON BOARD INVOLVED IN ACCIDENT
The Tennessee Highway Patrol says a White County School bus was involved in an accident yesterday with another vehicle.
The school bus was crossing Highway 70 at Griffintown Road when it was struck in the passenger side by another vehicle.
Troopers say there were nine students and a driver on the bus at the time of the accident.
Each was evaluated at the scene for minor injuries by medical professionals but none were transported to the hospital.
The occupants of the passenger vehicle suffered non-life-threatening injuries and were transported by ambulance.
The parents of the students involved were notified and the students were transported to school on another bus.
The accident is being investigated by the Tennessee Highway Patrol.
