WHITE HALL GOLF BRAWL

On Tuesday, Deputy Jason Powers of the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to the White Hall Road area in response to a fight involving multiple people wielding golf clubs in the street.

EMS had already been dispatched before Powers arrived on the scene as one of the injured persons involved may have suffered a broken arm from the fight. Powers had also been informed that one of the assailants had fled the scene before he arrived.

Upon arriving at White Hall Powers met a woman and man, the man holding his left wrist with a red mark consistent with the shaft of a golf club and bleeding knuckles.

The two explained that theirs and the neighbor’s dogs had begun fighting in the street. The male, joined by another male, went to stop the dogs, and that was when they claimed Travis Sadula and Ricky Brown showed up from across the street with golf clubs running toward the dogs. the male believed Sadula and Brown were going to attack the dogs and began arguing.

They claim Sadula and Brown hit the two males with the golf clubs, and shortly after, Sadula got into his girlfriend’s car and left the scene. Deputy Leary, who had arrived on the scene to assist, left to make contact with Sadula who was arrested for aggravated assault.

Brown however was unable to be located and no one at the scene knew where he could be found. The male victim was treated by EMS and told to go to a hospital for x-rays on his wrist, while the other male refused treatment.
