WILDLIFE OFFICER CHARGES MORGAN COUNTIANS WITH CRIMINAL LITTERING IN CUMBERLAND COUNTY
According to a report released yesterday, a wildlife officer charged a couple of Morgan Countians with aggravated criminal littering after illegally dumping garbage on Mt. Roosevelt Wildlife Management Area in Cumberland County. During routine patrols, Wildlife Officer Derrick Gray discovered a substantial amount of trash earlier this year. His investigation led to 13 different contacts, over three counties and ultimately led to a confession. The suspects were charged with a Class A misdemeanors and aggravated criminal littering. They later contacted Gray and offered to clean up the site. TWRA (Tennessee Wildlife Resource Agency) did not release their identities.
