Cumberland County deputies responded to a home on the 9500 block of Cherokee Trail Friday for a stabbing. Officers arrived to see Lake Tansi Security holding the suspect, 22-year-old Carolyn Marie Williams of Crossville, at gunpoint. The report states a domestic altercation between Williams and a man and woman at the scene led to Williams reportedly stabbing the male once with a dagger knife in the arm. She allegedly attempted to stab him again a few more times. Williams was arrested for aggravated assault, taken to jail and initially placed under a $20,000 bond.
