WILSON COUNTY SCHOOL BOARD MEMBER ARRESTED ON INDECENT EXPOSURE CHARGES
Donnell Self, a 51-year-old member of the Wilson County School Board representing Zone 5, was arrested on December 16, 2025, and charged with two counts of indecent exposure following an incident at a restaurant in Lebanon, Tennessee.
According to police affidavits, Self allegedly exposed his genitalia to two female employees—one an adult and one a juvenile—while ordering food on December 15 after exiting the restroom with his zipper down; one employee reported this was the second such incident, with the first occurring on September 28. Self denied the allegations when questioned by police, and security footage did not clearly capture the exposure, though it showed possible discoloration at his zipper area.
He was released on a $1,500 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on February 5, 2026. Wilson County Schools acknowledged the charges in a statement but declined further comment, citing the ongoing legal matter involving an elected official.
