WIND ADVISORY ISSUED FOR CUMBERLAND COUNTY AHEAD OF GUSTY SATURDAY STORMS

Residents of Cumberland County should prepare for blustery conditions as the National Weather Service in Nashville has issued a Wind Advisory effective from 4:00 AM to 8:00 PM CDT on Saturday.
Forecasters predict east winds ranging from 15 to 25 mph, with potentially hazardous gusts reaching up to 45 mph. The anticipated strong winds carry potential impacts, including:
  • Unsecured outdoor objects being blown around yards and properties
  • Downed tree limbs and potential scattered power outages
  • Difficult driving conditions, particularly for high-profile vehicles such as trucks, vans, and trailers
