The National Weather Service has issued a WIND ADVISORY for all of middle and east Tennessee.

The advisory will go into effect at noon tomorrow (Tuesday, February 27, 2024) and is set to expire at 6 a.m. Wednesday (February 28, 2024).

Officials say winds around 20 mph with gusts up to 40 mph are expected.

Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. Wind gusts up to 40 mph can make driving difficult, especially for high-profile vehicles. Use extra caution when driving during the advisory period.
