A WIND ADVISORY remains in effect until noon central time today today (Wednesday, November 25, 2020) for the following counties:

CUMBERLAND, FENTRESS, PICKETT, OVERTON, PUTNAM, WHITE, VAN BUREN

South winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts to around 45 mph can be expected. Gusty winds could blow around unsecured outdoor objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. VEC power crews are on standby in case any take place.

Also the same area is under a marginal risk of severe weather this afternoon.
