Wind Chill Warning

The National Weather Service has issued a Wind Chill Warning for all of Middle Tennessee, including Cumberland, Fentress, and Pickett Counties from midnight Thursday night to noon Friday. Dangerously cold wind chills expected. Wind chills as low as 20 below zero. These cold wind chills could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes. Avoid outside activities if possible. When outside, make sure you wear appropriate clothing, a hat, and gloves.
A Wind Chill Watch has been issued for Morgan, Rhea, Meigs, Monroe, Roane, Loudon, Bledsoe, Anderson, and McMinn Counties from late Thursday night through Saturday afternoon. Dangerously cold wind chills possible. Wind chills as low as 15 below zero in lower elevations, and as low as 25 below zero in higher elevations. The cold wind chills could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes.
