Winstead’s American Grill, a longtime staple in Spring City, Tennessee’s local dining scene, is set to close its doors permanently this Sunday evening.

Staff at the location confirmed that Owner Steve Winstead is transitioning his full focus to another local business, King of Pizza To Go, located in the Spring City Plaza, indicating he will remain active in the community’s food scene rather than exiting it entirely. The future of the Winstead’s American Grill building remains uncertain.

Day Shift Manager Ruby Kilgore commented on the closure, saying, “The crew is going to try to make it. For a lot of us, it was a last-minute thing. We all knew it was coming, just didn’t know when.”
