WOMAN ARRESTED AFTER PULLING KNIFE ON MOTHER-IN-LAW
On May 26, 2025, police responded to a domestic disturbance at an apartment on Savannah Lane in Crossville. A woman reported that her daughter-in-law, Ashlen Starr Roysdon, threw broken glass at her, threatened her with a knife, and physically assaulted her, causing a bloody mouth and lips.
Roysdon sustained minor injuries. A witness intervened during the altercation. Roysdon disobeyed police orders, resisted arrest, and was forcibly detained and handcuffed by Officer Foster. She further resisted being moved to the patrol car.
Roysdon was arrested, charged with aggravated domestic violence and resisting arrest, and transported to the Justice Center.
