WOMAN ARRESTED AT C.M.C. AFTER ASSAULTING OFFICER

On July 8, 2025, Deana Revis, a 51-year-old non-Hispanic white female, was arrested at Cumberland Medical Center (CMC) in Crossville, by Officer Justin Farmer. Revis had been banned from the hospital the previous day but was brought to the ER by ambulance and subsequently discharged.
After being escorted out by security due to her ban, she lay down in the parking lot, refusing to leave. When Officer Farmer arrived, he observed Revis pretending to be unresponsive, but she sat up when prompted. Security reported that she had been aggressive toward nurses, though medically cleared for release.
Despite multiple requests to leave the property, Revis refused, stating she had no ride, and challenged the officers to arrest her.
While being escorted to the patrol car, she resisted by leaning back and pushing against the officers. During this, she pulled her arm free from Sgt. Samantha Seay and swung at Officer Farmer, missing his face but striking his arm.
Revis was then handcuffed, arrested, and transported to the Justice Center without further incident.
She was charged with Simple Assault on a First Responder and Criminal Trespassing, served with warrants, and provided copies of the charges.
