WOMAN ARRESTED AT CROSSVILLE FOOTBALL GAME AFTER CLAIMING TO BE UNDERCOVER AGENT
A woman was taken into custody during a local school football game after she allegedly attempted to jump over the bleachers to fight another parent, yelled profanities at police, and falsely claimed to be an undercover federal agent.
According to an incident report from the Crossville Police Department, officers responded to the disturbance at Cook Road at approximately 7:44 p.m. on August 28, 2026.
School Resource Officer Kelsch made initial contact with the suspect, identified as Christina Norris, near the stands. The report states that Norris was unsteady on her feet, slurring her speech, and smelling strongly of alcohol. As officers spoke with her, Norris reportedly became highly belligerent and began screaming profanities.
During the encounter, Norris allegedly made a series of bizarre claims to law enforcement to avoid arrest:

Federal Agent Claims: She initially told officers she worked for the FBI and the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI).

“Undercover” Status: While being transported to intake, she changed her story, claiming to be an undercover agent for Homeland Security, adding that she did not need to show any credentials to prove it.
Despite her alleged attempts to fight another parent, Norris argued with officers during transport, insisting she was only being arrested for “being loud cheering her son on” and confidently stated that her charges would be dropped.
Norris was transported to the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office where she was officially booked. She has been charged with Public Intoxication for unreasonably annoying bystanders while under the influence, and for presenting a danger to herself and the general public.
