WOMAN BELIEVES HER ITEMS WERE STOLEN WHILE MOVING FROM CONNECTICUT

On Wednesday Deputy Jacob Moore spoke with a woman over the phone regarding a theft that had occurred. The woman explained that she and her spouse had just moved to Crossville from Connecticut and had used a moving company based out of Connecticut called America’s Choice.

Their belongings left Connecticut on the 28th of December before reaching New Jersey where the belongings would sit until January 9th.

The belongings arrived in Crossville on January 11th, but when the items arrived the couple found several items to be missing.

These items include:

  • An orange and black airsoft gun valued at $110,
  • A gold and ruby studded earrings and necklace valued at $450,
  • Kate Spade watches valued at $250,
  • A high school class ring from HH Ellis Tech valued at $180,
  • A college class ring from East Connecticut State University valued at $180,
  • A white gold amethyst ring valued at $280,
  • A large fake silver diamond valued at $120,
  • A ball peen hammer valued at $25,
  • A metal detector valued at $300.

Currently, it is unknown whether the items were stolen in New Jersey or are still in transit.

No suspects have been arrested, and no charges have been filed.
