WOMAN CHARGED FOR STEALING CATALYTIC CONVERTERS AFTER TEST DRIVING TRUCK
On Friday, May 27, Tracey Wade went to Mountain Motors in Crossville to test drive a 2007 white dodge ram and never returned. When the truck was located, the dealer tag was replaced with a different tag. A male had been with her and claimed he had only been with her a short while. They had taken two catalytic converters to sell to another male for $260 and split the cash between them. While being arrested, Tracey Wade told officers that she had needles on her. With the needles, she also had 5 pills that were not prescribed to her. She was put under arrest for vandalism, theft of property, and possession of two catalytic converters.
