Deputies in Grundy County say a local woman faces charges after crashing her car into a Grundy County Head Start bus on Highway 108 in Altamont Friday afternoon.

Thirty-five-year-old Shannon Hargis of Gruetli-Laager was charged with DUI.

Grundy County Sheriff Clint Shrum said none of the 12 children on the bus was injured.

The Tennessee Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
