WOMAN IN CUSTODY ON CRIMINAL HOMICIDE CHARGE AFTER FATAL JAMESTOWN SHOOTING
A woman named Jolina Upchurch is now in custody after a deadly shooting in Jamestown, Tennessee, on the morning of April 9.
Fentress County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to reports of gunfire in the 100 block of Whippoorwill Lane just before 9 a.m. and found Samuel Jennings suffering from an apparent gunshot wound; he died at the scene.
Upchurch, identified as the suspect, remained on the run for most of the day before being apprehended around 6 p.m. She has been charged with criminal homicide.
