WOMAN KILLED IN TWO VEHICLE ACCIDENT
A Rhea County woman passed away over the weekend from injuries sustained in a vehicle accident. The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office said Deborah Cox from Graysville was taken to the hospital in critical condition where she later died. Officers say the two vehicle accident took place near the 13300 block of Jones Gap Road. Three people were involved in the accident. The other two sustained minor injuries. Authorities said Jones Gap Road was closed between the corner of Jones Gap Road and Highway 111 thru to the Hamilton County/Sequatchie County Line for hours as a result of the crash.
