WOMAN RECEIVES SCAM CALL FROM FAKE CVS
Yesterday, Deputy Joshua Matthews was asked to call a woman about a scam call. The woman said that she received a call around
lunchtime from someone claiming to be from CVS.
They asked for her medical information such as who her doctor was, and her medicines, and obtained her Medicare card information. She hung up and called CVS who told her they did not request this info and to call law enforcement to file a report.
There are no suspects or charges placed at this time.
