WOMAN STEALS PERSONAL BELONGINGS AFTER ENTERING EMPLOYEE-ONLY ROOM

On Monday, a Crossville city officer responded to Sally Beauty for a theft report.

When the officer arrived, he spoke with an employee who stated a black female wearing a small pink backpack walked into the store and entered the “employee-only room”. Another employee noticed the woman exit the room and walk out of the store. The staff members went to the employee-only room where they noticed their personal belongings had been searched through. One employee noticed her wallet was missing from her purse and called authorities.

One of the victims told the officer they watched her walk into the Bealls store, however, the officer did not observe anyone in the store matching the description. While attempting to view video footage of the female, the officer was notified that the employee had gotten an alert that someone was attempting to use her card at Walmart for $105.

However, when officers arrived, they were unable to locate the female. This case is still under investigation as officers try to review more video footage of the incident.
