A woman was hit by a vehicle around 12:30 this afternoon in the parking lot of Walmart in Crossville. Medics and police arrived to find the female in her 70’s on her back on the asphalt in front of the pharmacy entrance with injuries to her shoulder and left knee. She was transported to the hospital for treatment of injuries considered non-life threatening. She was alert and talking with medics prior to being placed into the ambulance. Police encourage motorists to use caution in their travels as several accidents took place in the city and county in the past two days.
