WOMAN TRIES TO PASS COUNTERFEIT BILLS IN CROSSVILLE

On Thursday, May 26, officers responded to a call about a woman trying to pass counterfeit bills at an Exxon gas station.  When officers arrived, the female had gone across the street to a CVS. The female identified as Ashley Conneley. When questioned, she stated that she had thrown the money away but then proceeded to pull three counterfeit twenty-dollar bills out of her bra. The money had “COPY MONEY” written on the bills.

Conneley was placed into custody.
