WOOD SAYS THAT CROSSVILLE WILL NOT PULL OUT OF CENTRAL COMM CENTER

The City of Crossville is not withdrawing from the Crossville-Cumberland County Communications Center. That word directly from Crossville City Manager Greg Wood in an email message. Wood was clarifying a statement made in the Dec. 18 minutes of a CCCC meeting. The new-business portion of the minutes stated that Crossville had submitted paperwork to pull out of Central Communications and the committee at the end of June 2019. Wood said that the city is withdrawing only from the CCC due to many issues for the arrangement to continue without modification. He clarified that the city is “not withdrawing from the communications center” and will continue in that participation.
