Wayne County, Kentucky deputies took 22-year-old Morgan A. Woodward of Monticello into custody yesterday for supposedly abusing his grandparents.

Officers responded late yesterday to a home on Lick Creek Road for a complaint. Woodward was the caregiver for the couple and reportedly neglected them for a period of time. Law enforcement observed several abuse marks on both the grandfather and grandmother.

Woodward was charged with abuse and/or neglect of an adult, assault, menacing and terroristic threats. He was taken to the Wayne County jail and initially being held without bond.
