Coming up a week from this Saturday, the annual National Wreaths Across America Day will once again be held at Oak Grove Cemetery in Rockwood, presented by the Rockwood 2000 organization. According to the organization, the event’s mission is to remember the fallen, honor those who served, and teach the next generation the value of freedom.

The ceremony at Oak Grove Cemetery in Rockwood will take place on Saturday, December 13 at 12:00 noon. Wreaths that have been purchased will be placed at the headstones of the veterans resting there, with many volunteers—including school groups—helping to lay the wreaths on the graves. Once again, that’s Saturday, December 13 at 12:00 noon at Oak Grove Cemetery.
