East Bound Interstate 40 was closed most of the night after a truck managed to get onto the eastbound lane heading west Wednesday night.  The truck then struck a motorcycle head-on at the 336.8-mile marker, killing the female driving the motorcycle.

No names have been released as the investigation continues.  Reports from the scene indicate the male driver of the truck did not receive life-threatening injuries.
