A World Wrestling Entertainment legend could become the next mayor of Knox County. Glenn Jacobs, better known to WWE fans as Kane, plans to make an announcement about the Knox County mayor’s race this upcoming Tuesday aftermoon. On April 11 at 2 p.m., Jacobs will make an announcement about his potential run in the Knox County mayor’s race at Sweet P’s BBQ & Soul House, located at 3725 Maryville Pike in Knoxville.

Back in March, Jacobs filed paperwork to appoint a political treasurer for a potential campaign. The elction for mayor of Knox County will be May 1, 2018.
