18-YEAR-OLD FLIPS TRUCK AFTER CRASHING INTO U-HAUL IN KINGSTON

On Tuesday, Kingston Police and Fire responded to a crash on Gallaher Road near Poplar Springs Road, one of several incidents that day, including earlier accidents on the interstate and Kentucky Street. An 18-year-old female driver, Mikalia Mabry from Monterey, Tennessee, was operating a 2016 Chevrolet Tahoe southbound when it veered off the road near the 949 block.

The vehicle struck a mailbox, a power pole, a fence at a local business, and a parked U-Haul truck before flipping onto its roof. According to Officer Shamus Pio’s report, the vehicle had five occupants. One was transported to Turkey Creek Medical Center, while the other four were treated and released at the scene. The Kingston Fire Department provided photos of the Gallaher Road accidents.
