On November 23, 2025, Crossville Police officers responded to a report of a reckless driver in a blue SUV near West Avenue who was allegedly yelling threats at a caller and attempting to run her over. While en route, an officer met the caller near West Avenue and Tenth Street, who stated the incident occurred near Planet Fitness.

While checking the area, the officer located a blue SUV parked crookedly across multiple spaces in the closed Hardee’s parking lot in Highland Square.

Upon contact with the occupants, the officer detected a strong odor of alcohol coming from the vehicle. The driver, 19-year-old Victoria Hensley, was asked to step out; she admitted to consuming “half a can of 11%” alcohol, which the passenger confirmed were Clubtails grape cocktail cans she claims she purchased without being carded.

Due to being under 21 and having consumed alcohol, Hensley was placed under arrest for underage consumption of alcohol, transported in double-locked handcuffs to the Cumberland County Justice Center, and charged accordingly.

The vehicle was released to a licensed driver.
