2 WOMEN WITH OUTSTANDING WARRANTS CAUGHT AFTER MULTI-COUNTY PURSUIT

Two women with outstanding warrants were apprehended after leading Cumberland County Deputies on a high speed chase through multiple counties earlier this week. Officers passed a vehicle on Mount Vernal Road with the driver and passenger acting in a suspicious nature. After the deputy turned around, he noted the vehicle he passed increase its’ speed. As the pursuit continued along Gallaher Rd. in Roane County, the driver reportedly threw a blue box out of the window. It was later recovered and found to contain a set of scales and plastic baggies. The chase continued into a gas station where the suspect’s vehicle nearly struck a gasoline pump. This time, the driver threw a black bag out of the window which held a pipe that had drug residue. The chase continued into Morgan County and ended on Powers Loop where the driver, 35-year-old Jena Lynne Davidson of Rockwood, had to be forcibly removed. She was found to have an outstanding warrant in Roane County. The passenger, Erica Howe, also had an active warrant in Morgan County.
