The Cumberland County Fair Association announced this afternoon the upcoming 2020 fair is cancelled.

Officials released the following statement:

“The Cumberland County Fair involves a large network of people to bring it to the community. Vendors, entertainers, competitors, sponsors, amusement operators and hundreds who contribute to make the fair successful have been impacted by the coronavirus. The Cumberland County Fair Association Board of Directors understands that because the board is going through the same thing.

Based on scientific information available consulting with the Department of Agriculture and Tennessee Association of Fairs, the Cumberland County Fair Association Board of Directors made the decision to cancel this year’s fair originally scheduled for August 24-29, 2020 for the safety of the community. We asked the community understand and support our decision. We will be back in 2021 with a bigger and better Cumberland County Fair.
