A 21-year-old man, identified as Jordan Trevon Davidson, is currently being held without bond following a late-night police pursuit in Rockwood. The incident began shortly before 11 p.m., when Davidson allegedly refused to pull over for officers, sparking a brief chase on a moped that traveled from Winchester Street into the Blackjack Road area. The pursuit concluded when Davidson crashed his moped and attempted to flee on foot, though he was captured by authorities a short distance away.

Davidson now faces 18 criminal charges, the most serious of which include aggravated kidnapping, child endangerment, reckless driving, and evading arrest. While the investigation into the incident remains ongoing, police have not yet disclosed what prompted the initial attempted traffic stop.
