23 DOGS RESCUED IN CUMBERLAND COUNTY

The Animal Rescue Corps, a national nonprofit, said it had helped nearly two dozen dogs and puppies during its “Operation Countdown” over the New Year’s holiday. As part of this operation, 23 dogs and puppies of small and mixed breeds were rescued from a trailer in Cumberland County.

According to them, the dogs lived in unsanitary conditions with high ammonia exposure, were infested with parasites such as fleas and ticks, and received minimal veterinary Care.

The dogs were taken to a rescue center in Gallatin to receive vaccinations, medical treatments, and full examinations before being taken to shelters.

This event marks the third deployment of the Animal Rescue Corps in just 8 days.
