24-YEAR-OLD STOPPED FOR BRAKE LIGHT OUT IN CROSSVILLE, OFFICERS FIND METH

On Tuesday, Cumberland County officers noticed a red truck that had a brake light out. When conducting a traffic stop, 24-year-old Brandon Davis, of Sparta, stated he knew his light was not working. Officers also noticed he had a rifle in the passenger seat. After allowing officers to search the vehicle, the K9 dog alerted an officer to a clear baggie in the ashtray under the radio. Inside the baggie was a crystal-like substance that had the appearance of methamphetamine. According to the police report, when questioned about the methamphetamine, Brandon said that he had just purchased it and it hadn’t been in his car very long.

Bradon Davis was arrested with a bond of $4,000. The 3.49 grams of methamphetamine were sent to the TBI lab.
