A Cumberland County man will serve the next 25 years in prison for the murder of a Fairfield Glade woman in 2015. Judge Gary McKenzie handed down the sentence to 41-year-old Matthew Bruce Howard in criminal court yesterday. Howard pled guilty to the second degree murder of 33-year-old Tara Burnett at a Kingsdown Road residence on February 16, 2015. Howard will serve the full sentence as a range one offender.
