The 278^thArmored Cavalry Regiment participated in Polish Armed Forces Day festivities August 15, 2018. Polish Armed Forces Day is a national holiday in Poland celebrated every year, commemorating the anniversary of the victory over Soviet Russia at the Battle of Warsaw during the Polish-Soviet War in 1920.
Festivities included a ceremony, a competition and a BBQ. U.S. teams competed against teams from Poland, Canada, Ukraine and Lithuania, taking home 1st, 6th and 8th place. Tennessee is very grateful to represent the U.S. in the events and to Poland for allowing the 278^th to share in their holiday and culture
