29 YEAR OLD HOMELESS MAN ARRESTED IN METHODIST CAMPGROUND FIRE

A homeless man from Nashville, 29 year old Dalton Douglas Rayburn has been arrested and charged with 3 counts of arson for allegedly setting fire early Tuesday morning to three buildings at the former Methodist Campground on Old Jamestown Highway in Crossville.
Surveillance cameras reportedly recorded a man attempting to set fire to a pavilion, the library and a bath house on the Campground property around 4:30 Tuesday morning.
The pavilion was a total loss, only minor damage was reported in the library and bath house.
Rayburn is currently being held in the Cumberland County jail on a $24,000 bond and is scheduled for his first court appearance on Monday, August 21, 2023 at 8:30 am.
