Three men were arrested by the 5^th Judicial Drug Task Force earlier this week for being involved in fraudulent prescription crimes. Anthony Walker Terrell, Kameron Blake Wright and Malik Deandre Bradford were taken into custody after an area pharmacist alerted Maryville police to a bogus prescription being filled. The three suspects were observed in the area after one of the men tried to buy codeine cough syrup. While the three were detained, officers found more fake prescriptions for the cough medicine in their vehicle along with a counterfeit $100 bill. Authorities say that this is one of several groups that have been busted in Blount County for having fake scrips for codeine cough syrup. They say the suspects are coming from the Atlanta area.
