5 CHARGED WITH TRANSPORTING DRUGS FROM MICHIGAN TO CLEVELAND, TN.

Five people have been arrested as the result of a joint drug task force operation that busted a heroin-trafficking pipeline from Michigan to Cleveland, Tennessee. As a result of the bust involving Cleveland Police and the 10th Judicial Drug Task Force, agents recovered approximately 50 grams of heroin with a street value of $20,000. Authorities say the five individuals arrested were directly involved with the transportation of heroin from Detroit, Michigan and distributing it in Cleveland. They are Joseph Pike of Charleston, TN, Demondrae Smith of Detroit, Karen Lyles of Cleveland, TN, and Leon Fenderson and Camisha Tolbert, both of Detroit. Picture courtesy of WTVC.
