84 TENNESSEE COUNTIES POST SLIGHT UNEMPLOYMENT INCREASE FOR OCTOBER
Although the state rate for unemployment for October remained at 3 percent, an all-time low for Tennessee, 84 counties noted small increases. Cumberland County unemployment for October nudged up from 3.3 percent to 3.4 percent while Roane County numbers rose from 3.3 percent to 3.5 percent. Tennessee is posting the lowest unemployment numbers in nearly four decades. Williamson County has the lowest numbers at 2.2 percent while Rhea County posts the highest numbers at 5.4 percent.
