STEVE NORRIS FORECAST – GET SET FOR COLD RAIN

Clouds will be on the increase throughout the day on Saturday with temperatures remaining in the forties in many areas. Rain develop Saturday night with a low in the mid-30s and rain is likely on Sunday with high temperatures in the mid forties. Rain will be off and on through Monday and Tuesday and it continues to look like a few snow showers possible Wednesday night and Thursday. Very cold Arctic air moves in late in the week with high temperatures by Friday not even getting to freezing, only in the upper 20s and low temperatures in the teens. Lots to talk about in the days ahead and I will be keeping you posted, so stay tuned, it’s starting to get fun! All of the rain gauges in the state have reported for the past week and the highest total was 7 and a half inches on the Roane County Morgan County border. Totals in Cumberland County were mostly four to six inches, with 5.38 in Crossville and I expect at least another inch or two with this next system. The national high temperature on Friday was 85 in Naples Florida and the low was 0 in Pinedale Wyoming.
