Cumberland County deputies are investigating an incident of forgery related to a local woman’s lost wallet. The woman said she lost the wallet, possibly at her place of business in Fairfield Glade. On Monday, December 3, someone forged one of her checks at Tractor Supply Company in Crossville, in the amount of $457.42. The check reportedly came through the bank on Tuesday, December 4. There are no suspects at this time, but an investigation is ongoing.
