Sunday morning, three inmates of the Cumberland County jail were charged with assault in connection with a fight in one of the jail pods that left a fourth inmate bleeding from injuries to his head and upper body. The arrest report states 27-year-old Richard Leo Howard and 30-year-old Bruce Van Boehm admitted to assaulting the victim; 31-year-old Jeremy Brown was also seen on surveillance footage assaulting him. All three were booked on $1,000 bond and were due in court this morning.
