Rockwood City Officials invited the public Thursday afternoon to view the city’s new fire truck at Fire Station #1. The vehicle, dubbed Ladder 1, will replace the aged ladder truck that was over 25 years old. The new piece of equipment comes with a $910,000 price tag, and is currenjtly on display in Gatlinburg. It will be returned to the city Monday, June 10.
