A single vehicle accident in Cumberland County Friday afternoon resulted in the driver being possibly hurt….then taken to jail. Deputies responded to the 4400 block of Taylors Chapel Road where a vehicle driven by 22-year-old Samuel H. Norton of Powell went off the road in a curve, went into a ditch and hit a mailbox. Norton reportedly told officers he hydroplaned on the road when the road was very dry. Norton was charged with DUI.
