HIGH-SPEED CHASE IN CUMBERLAND COUNTY ENDS WITH TWO ARRESTS
A high-speed pursuit involving Cumberland County deputies and a wanted fugitive Friday resulted in two arrests. While patrolling on Dripping Springs Road, an officers spotted a vehicle driven by 22-year-old Patrick Cole Floyd of Monterey. The deputy knew Floyd was wanted and attempted to pull him over. A chase started reaching speeds of over 60 miles per hour in a 35 zone. It ended on the 1100 block when Floyd pulled into a driveway. Warrants were signed on Floyd for evading arrest. A passenger, 24-year-old Letehya Kay Cook of Monterey, was charged with criminal impersonation.
