WARRANTS ISSUED FOR ALCORN FOLLOWING VEHICLE ACCIDENT IN CROSSVILLE
Crossville police and medics responded to a recent single vehicle accident on the 1100 block of Old Jamestown Highway. Officers learned that the driver, 29-year-old Matthew Raymond Alcorn of Crossville, was taken by private vehicle to Cumberland Medical Center for treatment of injuries. Officers notified Alcorn he was being cited for driving without insurance and driving without a registration. As authorities were leaving, they were called back into the emergency room after a nurse confronted Alcorn about him being allegedly in possession of drugs. Alcorn reported retrieved the hidden drugs from between his butt cheeks. Warrants were taken out on Alcorn for simple possession of drugs and failure to report an accident.
